Payment due date: farm glossary

A payment due date is the date agreed for an expected payment. It belongs to a sale, purchase or other amount awaiting settlement. The due date helps plan payment and collection checks. The date money is paid or received describes the completed payment and can be recorded alongside the planned date.

A farm example

A buyer can have an agreed payment date for an animal sale. When the payment arrives, its own date and amount show what was settled against that agreement.

Everyday use

HerdMobile’s dated farm records and reminders help organise follow-up work. The sale and payment history provide the amounts to check when a planned payment date comes around.
