Paid amount: farm glossary
Paid amount is the money recorded as settled against a transaction. It is the sum of the relevant payments, rather than the full sale or purchase price by itself. Comparing the paid amount with the transaction total shows how much remains outstanding. The payment dates explain when that money changed hands.
A farm example
For a sale with several collections, each collection contributes to the paid amount. A later payment increases the paid total and reduces the remaining balance for the same transaction.
Everyday use
HerdMobile keeps payments with the farm account so the farmer can follow the amount settled and the balance still open. Sales and purchase values retain their own totals.
How HerdMobile helps
Bring your animals, feed stocks and farm accounts together on your Android phone. HerdMobile keeps your daily work moving offline: record events, compare feed quantities and follow sales and payments in one place. Use your own feeds and herd information to prepare a ration, then keep a backup file under your control.
