Treatment record: farm glossary
A treatment record is the dated history of treatment reported for a particular animal. It describes what was carried out and includes the responsible veterinarian’s instructions or product details available to the farmer. The animal, actual treatment date and description identify the event. Later care notes can then be followed from that point.
A farm example
If a lame cow is treated on 10 October and needs a hoof check on 15 October, the 10 October entry records the treatment actually given, while the 15 October check stays as a separate planned task.
Everyday use
HerdMobile keeps treatment events within the animal’s history. The farmer can find earlier treatment notes and the next follow-up information when checking that animal or handing over daily care.
How HerdMobile helps
Bring your animals, feed stocks and farm accounts together on your Android phone. HerdMobile keeps your daily work moving offline: record events, compare feed quantities and follow sales and payments in one place. Use your own feeds and herd information to prepare a ration, then keep a backup file under your control.
