Follow-up date: farm glossary
A follow-up date is a planned day or time for checking a matter again. It points to future work rather than describing a completed observation. The related animal, earlier event and purpose of the check explain what is due. A later completed event can then describe what was actually seen or done at that check.
A farm example
After an observation, a farmer can plan another check for the same animal. The original note describes the first observation, and the follow-up date helps organise the next visit or task.
Everyday use
HerdMobile can keep optional follow-up information with an animal event. The title and notes identify the animal and the work to return to when the planned date arrives.
How HerdMobile helps
Bring your animals, feed stocks and farm accounts together on your Android phone. HerdMobile keeps your daily work moving offline: record events, compare feed quantities and follow sales and payments in one place. Use your own feeds and herd information to prepare a ration, then keep a backup file under your control.
