Vaccination record: farm glossary
A vaccination record describes vaccine administration reported for an identified animal. It includes the actual event date and the product details available for that administration. The planned vaccination task and the completed vaccination are separate records of the work. The farm’s agreed vaccination plan explains which animal and task the entries relate to.
A farm example
A reminder can bring the next vaccination check into view. After administration, the dated event and product information describe what was carried out, while the earlier reminder remains part of the plan.
Everyday use
HerdMobile distinguishes vaccine events, general health notes and reminders. Together they help the farmer follow planned work and the dated animal-care history.
