Review ad personalization and usage analytics choices
Ad personalization and Usage analytics are separate choices in the app. Set personalized ads and usage statistics separately; ads continue according to your chosen advertising setting. Review the actual profile controls and the current privacy information. These app settings are also separate from a website’s consent controls or Android’s system permissions.
Read the initial ad-personalization choice
When the app presents the ad-personalization screen, read its explanation before choosing Personalized ads or Non-personalized ads. Both choices leave ads active. Select the preference you actually intend rather than treating the non-personalized choice as an ad-free purchase or an account subscription. This choice can later be changed in the local profile; a network or advertising-provider restriction may still affect ad delivery.
Check the profile’s personalization switch
Open the profile and find Personalized ads. Check whether the switch is on or off, then set it to your preferred choice. Off requests ads without personalized targeting; ad delivery can still involve the technical processing described in the privacy notice. Do not infer that changing this setting erases data previously handled by a provider.
Review usage analytics independently
Find Usage analytics in the same profile area and read its description. This switch controls usage statistics and error reports; herd, animal and financial records stay on your phone. Decide independently whether to enable it. This setting controls future usage reports; advertising can still use the internet, and earlier reports follow the data-deletion process. Use the privacy and data-deletion information for those separate questions.
Verify the settings you intended to change
Check both displayed switch positions after your selections. The profile switches apply their changes directly; there is no additional form-save action for these controls. Keep notification permissions, camera permissions and the app’s PIN lock as separate settings. If you need help, describe the app version and the setting involved without sending local records, backup files, private codes or unrestricted screenshots.
Consent choices and deletion have different purposes
A preference change controls future use; follow the privacy and data-deletion pages for information sent earlier. Local record deletion and information held by the advertising or analytics service have different procedures and limits described in the privacy and deletion pages. Non-personalized ads can still need internet and normal delivery processing. Choose personalization and usage statistics separately; read the privacy notice for the information used to deliver ads and handle earlier data.
