Export farm records as CSV or an animal PDF

Use Reports in the profile area to share an owner’s animal, finance, milk, feed or live-sale CSV, or a selected animal’s history PDF. Choose the file type for your actual purpose and inspect the exported file. Use reports as readable copies for checking and sharing; keep a separate backup ZIP for a full restore.

  1. Decide which records you need

Open the profile area and find Reports. In the owner profile, Animal CSV exports animal records, Finance CSV covers finance, Milk CSV covers milk data, Feed CSV covers feed data, and Live Sale CSV covers animal sales. These buttons export across the businesses available in this profile; there is no business or date-range selector in this panel. Review the intended scope before sharing.

  2. Choose the animal for its PDF

For an individual history, use Animal Record to select the business and ear tag shown in the list. Check the identity carefully, especially if similar ear tags occur in different businesses. Then choose Animal PDF. Select the animal for its PDF sheet, and check each CSV button for the wider set of records it exports. With no animal records, the PDF button is unavailable.

  3. Choose a destination on the phone

Tap the required export button and use Android’s sharing interface to choose an appropriate destination. You may save or send the file through an installed application; that destination has its own permissions and network requirements. After sharing, check that the recipient received the file or that it opens from the location where you saved it. Complete the destination application’s steps.

  4. Open and check the actual exported file

Open the saved or shared file and check its title, contents and animal or business identities. Use a spreadsheet application for CSV and a PDF reader for the animal history. Check how your spreadsheet interprets dates, decimal separators and ear tags; keep the original export if automatic formatting changes them. After the ready message, open the file to check that it is readable and contains the records you intended.

Share carefully and keep a real backup

Reports contain your farm and financial information. Check the recipient and businesses and animals included in the file before sending, especially because an owner CSV can include several businesses. Keep exported reports with your farm documents, and create a separate backup ZIP when you need to restore records or move your full data to another phone.
