Add notes and a photo to an animal event
Keep a written observation and an optional photograph with the relevant animal event. Check the ear tag before opening Add Event, choose the event type that actually occurred, and use Note for the details. Attach a dated photograph to help follow changes and share clear observations with the person caring for the animal.
Identify the animal and real event
Open the correct animal card and check its ear tag, then choose Add Event. Select the appropriate available type for what happened. Choose the health, vaccination, treatment or other event category that matches the work performed, and write your observation inside that event. Attach a note to a real event rather than recording an imaginary vaccination just to save a picture.
Write the observation and date
Enter a useful Title and describe what you observed in Note. Include enough context to distinguish this event from a similar entry. Check Event date; leave it empty for the current entry time or enter the actual earlier date. Future event dates are rejected. Keep any clinical instructions attributed to your veterinarian, without treating a personal observation as confirmed disease.
Select and check one photograph
Use Camera for a new photograph or Gallery for an existing image. Android may ask for the relevant permission. After selection, Photo added confirms an attachment is present; this form shows an attachment chip rather than a full image preview. If you picked the wrong file, use Remove photo and select the right one. Choosing another image replaces the pending selection.
Save the event and verify its history
Choose Save after the image operation finishes. Wait for the form to close and check the animal’s event history for the correct title and date. After choosing the photo, save the event and reopen it to check that the right picture is attached. If saving reports an error, inspect the outcome before repeating the entry. Keep the original evidence until you have verified the stored record and made a current backup.
Record keeping and private photographs
Use the separate health or vaccination guide for the event’s other fields and follow-up reminder. Add one optional photograph to the event so its image and written notes stay together. Avoid including unrelated people, identity documents or other private farm information in pictures. Do not assume an event photograph also changes the animal’s main card photo. Ask a veterinarian about health concerns; these instructions only explain the record form.
