Create, postpone or complete a reminder
Add a named reminder to the correct business, choose its category and timing, then check it in the calendar. The creation form offers 1 min, Tomorrow and 7 days rather than an unrestricted date picker. Quiet hours and Android notification settings can affect delivery, so the calendar record is the place to verify the task.
Open the calendar and select the business
Choose Add Reminder in the calendar. A business must already exist. When there is more than one business, check the selector in the form; do not assume the last business viewed elsewhere is selected. Enter a meaningful Reminder title so you can recognize the task without opening another record. Empty titles are rejected.
Choose the category and timing
Select the category that describes your task. Under Reminder time, choose 1 min, Tomorrow or 7 days. The default is seven days; selecting Tomorrow uses a one-day offset from saving rather than a morning time picker. The creation form adds a general calendar task; choose an animal event when you need a reminder linked to an animal. Use the follow-up date on the animal’s event for a reminder linked to that record.
Save and verify the calendar record
Choose Save and inspect the title, date and status in the calendar. The app applies notification preferences, including quiet hours, when setting the due time. Android may still require notification permission or allow battery restrictions to delay delivery. After saving the calendar task, check quiet hours, Android permission and battery settings when testing its alert. Check the notification troubleshooting page if delivery fails.
Postpone or close the right task
For an open task, Postpone offers one hour, tomorrow, one week or a custom date. Offset choices start from the later of its due time and now. Check the updated calendar date. Choose Complete only when the task is done, or Cancel when it is no longer needed. These actions do not record an actual vaccination or treatment for you.
Record payments against the sale
A reminder linked to a sale with an outstanding balance offers collection through Paid amount rather than the ordinary completion and cancellation actions. Add the actual extra payment against the sale’s receivable so its balance and income update together. Keep checking the calendar even if notifications work normally. For animal-health reminders, copy the planned date and action from your veterinarian’s care plan.
