Enter a valid purchase price.
Enter this animal’s purchase price to keep its record and purchase expense together.
Why does this happen?
The purchase price is negative or written in an invalid number format.
How do I check it?
In Animal Record or Edit Animal, open Optional animal fields → Purchase price. Check the ear tag, farm currency and this animal’s total price against your document.
Enter the number alone, using a decimal point in English, for example 1250.50. The field supports two decimal places and zero. Leave an unknown price blank on first entry; use zero only for an actual zero price.
If an unusual-amount confirmation appears, check the digits and currency. Tap Save, then check the animal’s price and linked expense. Adding a positive price creates that expense; editing the price updates it.
How do I verify the result?
The price and linked expense match your document. Clearing the price or setting it to zero while editing also removes the linked expense.
How do I keep my records safe?
Keep the existing animal and use Edit Animal for corrections. Check finance records before adding another expense for this purchase so you count it once. Keep your documents and take a fresh backup after important corrections.
