Payment due date cannot be before the sale date.

Match the payment follow-up to the sale agreement so you can keep track of the remaining payment.

Why does this happen?

When both dates are entered, Payment due date must be on or after the sale date. The same calendar day is accepted.

How do I check it?

  1. Compare Sale date (YYYY-MM-DD) and Payment due date with the buyer’s agreement. Check the ear tag, buyer and each date’s year, month and day.

  2. Correct the date that differs from the agreement. Keep the actual sale date and enter the agreed follow-up date on that day or later. Review payment status, Sale amount and the money actually received in Paid amount; confirm unclear terms with the buyer first.

  3. Tap Save once, then open the saved sale to check the total, payment and remaining balance. A follow-up reminder is created when money remains and a follow-up date is provided; check phone alerts separately using the reminder guide.

How do I verify the result?

For a sale with an entered date, confirm that the follow-up matches the agreement and falls on or after the sale. Check fully paid status too: reminders depend on a remaining payment.

How do I keep my records safe?

A blank sale date records the sale now and permits an overdue follow-up. Enter the actual date for a past sale. Keep your payment notes and inspect the saved sale before retrying an unclear save.
