Resetting the PIN does not delete device data. Older encrypted ZIP backups may still need the previous PIN.

Recover your app PIN while keeping the farm records already on your phone.

Why does this happen?

Forgot PIN uses your phone’s screen lock or biometrics to let you set a new app PIN. Older encrypted ZIPs keep their original PIN.

How do I check it?

  1. Open Forgot PIN and tap Verify with biometrics or device lock. Complete the check offered by your phone.

  2. Enter the same replacement in New PIN and Confirm new PIN, then tap Save. Stay in the app until it finishes; if you leave and return, repeat the phone check when asked.

  3. Check your recent records and make a fresh backup with the new PIN. Before restoring any ZIP, save the destination phone’s records separately and check the selected file’s preview; confirming the restore replaces those records.

How do I verify the result?

Your new app PIN opens the records on this phone. Use the original PIN when an older ZIP asks for it.

How do I keep my records safe?

Keep older ZIPs and store their PINs securely and separately. Keep a copy outside the phone. If the restore preview shows different records from those you want, cancel and choose the right file.
