Sale date cannot be in the future.

Record the sale on the day it happened to keep the animal’s history and your farm accounts aligned.

Why does this happen?

The entered sale date is ahead of the phone’s local calendar date, beyond the one-day allowance for time-zone differences.

How do I check it?

  1. Check the ear tag and buyer against your sale document. Enter the actual completed sale date in Sale date (YYYY-MM-DD), for example 2026-10-15. Keep future sales in notes or reminders until they happen.

  2. If a past date still triggers the message, check Android’s date, time and time zone for your location. Return to the form and compare the date with your document again.

  3. Review Sale amount, payment status, Paid amount and Payment due date, then tap Save. The sale changes the animal’s status and adds its sale record.

How do I verify the result?

Open the saved sale and animal history. Check the date, ear tag, amount and any outstanding payment. If another warning appears or the result is unclear, inspect existing records before submitting again.

How do I keep my records safe?

Use the actual transaction date and keep your documents. A blank sale-date field records the sale at the current time; enter the real date for an earlier sale.
