Feed cost is missing.

Add your feed prices and save the ration again to see its updated cost.

Why does this happen?

A ration row has no saved price per kilogram. Each row keeps the price from when the ration was saved; editing the feed prepares the price for the next ration save. An entered zero counts as a price.

How do I check it?

  1. Open the saved ration’s Detail and read all Warnings. Note each feed with a missing price and its per-animal amount, including the g or kg unit shown. The ration card shows cost once all prices are complete.

  2. In Feed List, tap the feed to open Edit feed. Enter its actual price in the currency-labelled per kg field, then tap Save. For a sack, divide its total price by its actual kilograms.

  3. Return to the same ration, tap Edit and keep its feeds and quantities. Tap Save to refresh the saved prices, then reopen Detail and check Warnings. For an existing feed, enter the new price through Edit feed first.

How do I verify the result?

The feed’s entered price takes priority over a price calculated from a recorded purchase’s total cost and kilograms. Check the resulting cost against your feeding amounts and purchase notes.

How do I keep my records safe?

Use Edit feed for a price-only correction. Keep earlier purchases and feeding entries; add purchases for real deliveries and record each delivery once.
