I forgot my app PIN
Set a new app PIN using your phone’s screen lock or biometrics, while keeping your herd records.
Why does this happen?
PIN recovery uses the phone’s authentication to reset the active profile’s app lock. Older encrypted ZIP backups keep the PIN used when they were created.
How do I check it?
Tap Forgot PIN on the lock screen or in the app-lock settings when offered. Read the backup warning, then choose Verify with biometrics or device lock.
Complete the phone’s authentication. If it fails or you cancel, check the phone’s screen lock and biometrics before trying again. After approval, enter New PIN and Confirm new PIN, then tap Save. Stay in the app until it finishes; authenticate again if you leave.
Open the intended profile and check recent herd records. Create a fresh backup using the backup guide. Keep older ZIP files separately, with a safe note of each file’s original PIN.
How do I verify the result?
Check that the intended profile opens and recent records are present. If recovery is unavailable or fails, keep the phone and contact Product support with the app version and exact message.
How do I keep my records safe?
Keep the app installed, its stored data intact and earlier backups unchanged. Use each protected ZIP’s original PIN when opening that file; keep PINs and backup contents private.
