My reminders are not arriving

Check the reminder time, Quiet hours and your phone’s notification settings to get farm alerts back on track.

Why does this happen?

Phone permissions, silent alerts and battery restrictions can affect reminders. Quiet hours moves an alert inside the quiet interval to its end. Android schedules alerts around the planned time.

How do I check it?

  1. Check the reminder’s date, time and open status, plus the phone’s time zone. Use a separate future test reminder; keep actual vaccination and treatment dates unchanged.

  2. Review Quiet hours and its start and end hours. When enabled, alerts inside that interval move to its end, including overnight intervals. In Android settings, check HerdMobile’s notification permission, reminder category, sound and interruption settings.

  3. If alerts are delayed, review battery restrictions using your phone maker’s guidance. After changes, test a new future reminder and note its planned time, arrival and sound. Send Product support the result, phone model, Android version and exact message if the problem continues.

How do I verify the result?

Watch for an actual alert and check whether it arrives silently. Keep important calving, vaccination and treatment tasks on your farm checklist alongside the app schedule.

How do I keep my records safe?

Keep animal records and the app’s stored data intact. Use your farm checklist while testing reminders; review phone settings again after device changes.
